Visitors get a real feel for American military campaigns in more than 70 displays of uniforms and artifacts at the American Military Museum. It houses displays from the recent Iraq War and Operation Desert Storm to World War I and the Revolutionary War.

Here's a sample of what you'll see:

  Operation Desert Storm
At left, you can see various uniforms and gear of the U.S. Marines from 1991's Operation Desert Storm.
  1970's-era uniforms:
The display case at left highlights various uniforms of the US Navy, US Marines and US Coast Guard from the 1970's.
  Vietnam War:
From helicopter pilots to ground troops, the display case at left highlights uniforms and gear of the US Army from the Vietnam era.
  Korean War:
At left are various Army uniforms from the early 1950's during the Korean War.
  World War II:
The display case at left highlights US Marine patches, hats and uniforms from World War II.
 

DeMille's band uniforms:
Hollywood producer Cecil B. DeMille designed Air Force band uniforms, at left, which eventually were rejected by the service.

  World War II:
The American Military Museum also features several displays of German uniforms from World War II.
 

World War I:
At left you can see US Navy uniforms from World War I.
